JOB DUTIES

Ensure students understand and adhere to federal and state regulations governing sterile processing.
Provide mentorship and career guidance for students pursuing sterile processing or bio-manufacturing careers.
Offer constructive feedback and assist students in meeting competency requirements.
Collaborate with healthcare facilities, biotech companies, and certification organizations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, prepare, and deliver quality classroom instruction in lecture, clinical, and/or laboratory format based on training material.
Support both internal and external training and qualification in aseptic gowning and processing.
Oversee student activities in a simulated or actual sterile processing environment.
Ensure proper use of sterilization equipment, cleanroom protocols, and aseptic techniques.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.
Maintain lab safety and compliance with industry standards.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES N/A WORKING CONDITIONS
Please add conditions relevant to role; i.e.: work performed in an office environment, position requires outdoor responsibilities, travel to local schools, etc. Flexibility with schedule to cover evenings and weekends, as necessary. This position is contingent upon grant funds.
ADA AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Positions in this class typically require ability to use a key board, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
Sedentary Work:
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in related fields such as Life Sciences or Engineering from an accredited institution.
Two (2) years of experience in an aseptic manufacturing facility.
Knowledge of cGMP regulations and FDA/EU guidance related to manufacturing of cell-based products.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with training methodology, adult learning theory, instructional design and Train-the-Trainer programs.
Teaching experience in a classroom or corporate setting.
Curriculum and module design experience.
Experience in aseptic cleaning or GMP cleaning, or titles such as Cell Processing Specialist or Aseptic Production Associate.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Must have organization and analytical skills.
Must exhibit careful attention to detail and display mature judgment.
Proficient computer skills utilizing software such as Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Ability to operate and troubleshoot sterile processing and bio-manufacturing equipment.
Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs.
