Pro Shop Attendant The Red Bank Armory Ice Complex Red Bank, NJ 07701 Who We Are The Red Bank Armory Ice Complex is a premier skating facility that is home to ice skating for all ages. Once a military training facility that was constructed at the turn of the century, the Armory housed the cavalry and the mechanized units right up until 1988. In 1998, the Armory was purchased privately to introduce the community to a facility that could provide the recreation of ice skating, ice hockey and public skating for both youth and adult. We are looking for one pro shop attendant to join our team. Job Responsibilities As a Pro Shop Attendant, you will build customer confidence, provide accurate information, and promote products through point of successful sale. You will be responsible for establishing professional, yet personalized rapport with each customer in order to close sales and provide the best customer experience.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

• Sharpening Hockey & Figure Skates
• Selling items and apparel
• Providing customer service, i.e., greet and acknowledge customers, solid product knowledge, and all other components of customer service
• Maintaining the appearance of the Pro Shop
• Accurately and efficiently completing all transactions and paperwork while adhering to all company policies and procedures
• Maintaining an awareness of advertised products
• Processing and maintaining stock by assisting in receiving, organizing, straightening, and replenishing equipment and apparel Job Requirements Successful candidates for the Pro Shop Attendant role should have the ability and desire to actively engage customers, sell equipment and apparel, as well as provide excellent customer service.

The successful candidate must also have experience sharpening skates. Additional requirements of the Pro Shop Attendant include:

• Prior retail sales experience and/or customer service experience, preferred
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency with basic math skills
• Ability to operate a POS register
• Available to work varied days and hours as work schedule requires, including extended evening hours and weekends Benefits

Compensation depends on your experience.
