Non-Exempt I. Purpose and Summary of Responsibilities Responsible for providing excellent customer service and sales assistance, maintaining sales floor merchandise, and supporting volunteer training and store operations. II.
Essential Responsibilities Retail Sales Floor:
Maintain floor merchandise and displays for cleanliness and presentation Stay current on sales promotions and store operations Provide outstanding customer service Prioritize safety for both staff and customers Operate cash register and reconcile credit card transactions as instructed Open and close the store in accordance with procedures Handle incoming donations appropriately Uphold confidentiality policies and demonstrate professional behavior at all times Learn and promote Community Action services
Training Responsibilities:
Train volunteers and new employees using established training handbooks and guides Document all volunteer activity and completed trainings accurately Provide on-site placements through outside agencies as directed
General Responsibilities:
Perform general store cleaning Clean and condition furniture/large items as needed Follow all Community Action and store policies and protocols Complete additional tasks as assigned III. Marginal Responsibilities Participate in required training and staff meetings Interact with other Community Action programs and outside agencies Provide coverage for staff absences as needed IV.

Noise levels vary due to phones, customers, staff conversations, nearby equipment, and street traffic due to location. VI. Pay Range:
$15.50-$19.50
