14th Avenue, Whitestone, NY 11357 Overview We are seeking retail bud tender / sales associates that are passionate about flower. We are an established retail dispensary in Whitestone, Queens NY. We are looking to hire sales associates who will be greeting arriving customers and guiding them through the different options and products that we have available. Experience with cannabis products and cannabinoids is a plus. Be part of a growing industry and part of an amazing team. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed to enhance their shopping experience. Utilize collaboration sales techniques to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system on an ipad and handling transactions accurately. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product features to effectively communicate with customers. Manage cash register duties, including processing payments and handling cash accurately. Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise displays. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Exhibit strong phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment. Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support. Skills Passionate about cannabis flower Experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash register operations. Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Supervisory skills are a plus, especially in guiding less experienced staff members. A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
