Leads the department in accomplishing daily goals (making sure machines are running and ready for production). Trains and directs employees on how to run the equipment; gives direction to employees and changes over personnel. Troubleshoots machine for personnel. Attends meetings, prepares scheduling for production team. Provides production reporting and ensures safety procedures set forth by the company are being adhered to. Other duties as assigned. Nature and Scope Works under minimal supervision. Resolves most questions and problems as tasks are frequently non-routine. Assists in orienting and training others. Knowledge and Skills 1. Forklift certification required. 2. Basic computer skills are essential. 3. Ability to supervise others. 4. Ability to read and understand schedules. 5. Ability to perform precise measurements and use mechanical equipment. Experience Minimum 3-5 years of manufacturing experience. 1 plus year in a Leadership Role. Education High School Diploma or equivalent.
