As a Budtender, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting products that meet their needs, educating them about various strains and products, and ensuring compliance with all regulations. Your role is crucial in creating a welcoming environment that encourages customer loyalty and satisfaction. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping experience. Assist customers in selecting cannabis products based on their preferences and needs. Educate customers on the effects, benefits, and uses of different strains and products. Operate the POS system efficiently to process sales transactions accurately. Maintain accurate stock levels, ensuring that shelves are well-stocked and organized. Conduct product demos to enhance customer understanding and engagement. Handle cash register operations with accuracy and attention to detail. Uphold all compliance regulations related to the sale of cannabis products. Address customer inquiries and provide knowledgeable responses regarding products. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the store environment. Experience Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in a grocery store or similar setting. Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is essential. Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Experience in sales or product demonstrations is an advantage but not required. Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries effectively.
