This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of the billing department while maintaining our commitment to exceptional patient care. The Department Supervisor will lead a talented team, fostering an environment of support and collaboration. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the department to ensure efficient workflow. Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to enhance performance. Implement policies and procedures that align with best practices in patient care. Collaborate with leadership and healthcare providers to optimize patient experiences. Monitor departmental performance metrics and develop strategies for improvement. Facilitate training and development opportunities for staff members. Assist with department roles and responsibilities, as needed. Requirements Experience with medical billing and coding. Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a healthcare setting is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
