Retail Store Manager Madison’s On Main Clayton, GA 30525 The Madison’s Footwear Store Manager oversees all aspects of daily operations, team performance, and customer experience for a fast-paced, style-driven footwear boutique.

Responsibilities:

1. Sales Leadership Meet and Exceed Monthly Sales Quotas. Manage product placement and staff to maximize daily sales. 2. Team Management Hire, fire, and develop team members to exceed sales quotas and to meet scheduling needs. It is your primary responsibility to fill the employee needs of the store. You are solely responsible for maintaining adequate staff to fulfill the store’s responsibility. Manage employees’ availability, requested days off, and on-going issues. If employees are unavailable to fulfill their working requirements it is your responsibility to communicate and fulfill any short staffing issues even if that means fulfilling them yourself. Provide ongoing training to maximize team efficiency. Use quarterly performance reviews to communicate and maintain account accountability. 3. Customer Experience Lead a client-focused culture by modeling exceptional service and ensuring every customer receives a personalized experience. Resolve customer concerns or escalations quickly and professionally. Foster customer relationships loyalty and drive repeat business. 4. Visual Merchandising Uphold visual standards and ensure product presentation aligns with seasonal guidelines and sales goals. Seasonal changes should be made every 1-2 months and display refreshes should be done weekly or as inventory levels dictate. Oversee floor sets, new arrivals, and promotional displays regularly. (Weekly) 5. Operations & Inventory Manage daily operations including opening/closing procedures, register accuracy, and cash handling. You are responsible for all deposits for your location. This is a responsibility that cannot be dictated to an assistant manager or sales associate. Coordinate inventory processes such as receiving, restocking, and transfers. Maintain accurate records and reduce shrink through effective loss prevention practices. Upsell by using multiple location inventory to fill customer needs. 6. Leadership & Reporting Lead store meetings and communicate company updates, goals, and expectations clearly. Analyze sales data and be able to comment on and provide feedback for store performance. Set daily, weekly, and monthly goals for the team, ensuring alignment with broader monthly sales quotas. 7. Social Media Social media involvement is vital. Capture B&M store content and share with social media team 2-3 times a week.

Requirements:

1-3 years of retail management experience (not required but appreciated). A high school graduate or equivalent. A good communicator with the ability to effectively interact with customers and your team to meet goals. Passionate about retail and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Driven by metrics to deliver results to meet business goals. Determined to effectively lead and inspire others to learn and grow through coaching and mentoring. Agreeable to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holiday, evening, and weekend shifts. This job requires a commitment of full-time including but no more than 40 hours a week. Able to utilize retail technology. Able to maneuver around the sales floor, stockroom and office and lift 30 pounds.

Job Pay & Benefits:

Pay Scale $16/hr-$18/hr depending on experience. Full time benefits including Paid-Time Off and Health Insurance. (90 Day Probationary Period)
