Job Description:

As a Store Manager at Steps New York, you will be responsible for the overall management of the store, overseeing daily operations, managing a team, and ensuring our store delivers outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in retail management, particularly within women’s fashion, and be passionate about leading a team to success.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service. Manage, train, and develop a team of sales associates. Ensure the store is visually appealing, organized, and fully stocked with products. Achieve and exceed sales goals while controlling operational costs. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues. Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and standards. Assist in inventory management and product ordering. Maintain a positive and motivating work environment for the team.

Key Requirements:

Experience as a store manager in a retail environment, with a preference for women’s fashion retail experience. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Solid understanding of retail operations, including sales, customer service, and inventory control. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. High school diploma or equivalent; college degree.
