Job Description
Supervisor Gotham Hudson, NY 12534 This is a full-time, on-site, sales floor presenting role. The Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the sales floor, supporting sales associates, communicating inventory needs and ensuring customer satisfaction. They will represent the company in a positive and professional manner while demonstrating a deep knowledge for cannabis and company culture. In addition, they will make sure the floor presence is clean, professional and appropriate at all times. This role requires strong communication, collaboration and problem solving skills. The Supervisor will report to Assistant Managers and the General Manager. Expectations, Duties, and Responsibilities Provides outstanding customer service in line with the Gotham experience Drives and exceeds sales goals/budgets by executing store’s sales planning through coaching associates on selling capabilities Role Model exemplary selling and service capability, lead staff to provide a personable outstanding shopping experience Lead the drive toward selling through coaching and recognition Motivate and coach staff to reach their fullest potential and to maximize business opportunities Create a positive, inclusive work environment resulting in retention of the best people and turnover reduction Greets and receives customers in an individual welcoming manner Makes our customers and visitors feel welcome while encouraging them to buy Serves customers by helping them select products using your knowledge and training Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling and sharing product knowledge Accompanies customers by escorting them to different areas of the store Responds to customers’ questions and assists associates in resolving customer service issues Documents sales by creating or updating client profile records as needed in coordination with concierge Manage selling floor and concierge processes Maintains high customer readiness standards; deliver a clean, neat and easy-to-shop store environment Perfect execution of operational standards and visual merchandising guidelines – presentation is everything! Processes payments by totaling purchases, processing cash, credit/debit cards and gift cards Assists with inventory, including receiving, transferring and stocking merchandise Ensure that all procedures, policies and shortage awareness programs are understood and followed by employees Execute successful opening and closing procedures storewide as opening/closing manager; follow store-operating procedures Adhere to weekly work schedules (weekends, nights, holidays) and be flexible to the needs of the business Assist General Manager and Store Manager with the following responsibilities as necessary: Monthly sales strategies and adjustments to drive meeting Budget expectations Training strategies and development through daily check ins to drive Key Performance Indicators both for the store, and team members individually Clienteling relationship building and tracking for the store Monthly Touch Bases with the entire team to communicate clear strengths and opportunities Daily communication and follow up with the store leadership team, store team and corporate office Weekly paperwork as instructed from the Home Office through the communication protocol Monitoring Inventory Sales Floor Levels Skills & Qualifications Sales Minded Passion for Cannabis, Art and Social Justice Leadership potential Works well in fast paced and ever-changing environments Adaptability and solution oriented Open minded and possesses and eagerness to learn Attention to detail Ability to work weekends, nights, holidays and flexible shifts
