As we continue to grow, we’re seeking an Associate Manager who can help lead our studio operations, support our artists, and create a seamless, welcoming environment for every person who walks through our doors. About the Role The Associate Manager is the right hand to the shop owner and plays a key role in: Overseeing daily operations at the front of house Elevating the customer experience Assisting in sales and service coordination Supporting artists and piercers Contributing to brand growth through outreach and marketing This is not just a management role — it’s a chance to be part of a creative community where art, business, and culture intersect. Key Responsibilities Deliver 5-star service: Greet, educate, and support walk-ins, emails, and calls with warmth and professionalism Manage bookings and client communications: Coordinate tattoo/piercing appointments, track deposits, and confirm follow-ups Assist with team support: Help manage schedules, cash outs, inventory, and shop flow Handle daily shop duties: Ensure cleanliness, compliance, and preparedness of the front-of-house and common areas Support marketing and events: Promote shop events, artist availability, flash specials, and client incentives via email and social media Participate in brand growth: Engage with local businesses, coordinate with guest artists, and explore new outreach channels Be the glue: Maintain shop culture, energy, and operations while helping the team run smoothly Qualifications 1-2 years in a customer service, retail, or shop management role (tattoo/piercing studio experience is a big plus) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking ability in a fast-paced creative environment Background or passion for tattooing, illustration, or design preferred — bonus if you know color theory or tattoo aesthetics Comfortable using POS systems, Google Drive, email, and scheduling tools A natural problem-solver who stays calm under pressure Reliable, consistent, and driven to grow with the brand First aid certified or willing to be certified (bonus) What We Offer $56,000/year salary with performance-based bonuses A creative, inclusive, and supportive studio environment Opportunity to collaborate with talented resident and guest artists Training and mentorship on tattoo industry operations Access to exclusive events, brand partnerships, and business development tools Apply now to be part of Red Baron Ink — where we don’t just make tattoos, we craft legacies.
