Full Job Description Summary:
Blossom & Rhyme is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Studio Manager to lead our preservation team and ensure every piece that leaves our studio reflects the artistry and care our brand is known for. In this role, you will oversee quality control across all preservation methods — including resin pieces, floral jewelry, and other specialty items — maintaining consistency, excellence, and integrity in every project. You’ll also directly manage and support the Resin Department, conducting regular check-ins with team members, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment, and ensuring deadlines and standards are met with intention and pride. This role is key to maintaining our commitment to exceptional craftsmanship, personalized service, and a thriving team culture.
Essential Job Function:

Quality Assurance Oversigh t:
Inspect all floral preservation projects at various stages of production to ensure quality standards are met. Monitor consistency in design, craftsmanship, and adherence to company specifications. Ensure all products meet customer expectations and that expectations are communicated clearly. . 2.
Process Improvement :
Identify and address quality issues or recurring challenges in production. Work closely with the production team to refine processes and ensure efficiency without compromising quality. Develop and update quality control protocols and checklists as needed. 3.
Team Leadership:
Train and guide team members on quality standards and techniques. Provide constructive feedback to team members on their work and be able to correct mistakes with employees/conduct PIP forms as needed. Collaborate with all departments within the business as well as outside vendors to ensure alignment with the company’s vision for excellence. 4.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of quality control checks, product issues, and resolutions. Report quality concerns to the owner and recommend corrective actions. Track and document customer feedback related to product quality for continuous improvement. 5.
Creative Collaboration:
Partner with the design team to ensure artistic integrity and customer requests are met. Offer suggestions to enhance product design and preservation techniques.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in quality control, art/design, or floral preservation, with a strong eye for detail. Understanding of floral preservation techniques (resin, pressing, floral jewelry, etc.) is highly preferred. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to balance creativity with meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency with basic technology tools (e.g., project management software, Microsoft Office). Management experience from past jobs. The ability to be able to have hard conversations for the betterment of the company while also maintaining kindness and empathy.
