This individual must sell products in various new construction markets that include, but are not limited to, hotel, healthcare, single family, multi-family, commercial, and institutional. Essential to success will be the ability to present and sell to plumbing contractors, engineers and owner/developers. Lastly, the candidate must excel in closing sales on jobsites and is willing to meet key decision makers throughout the territory.

Principal responsibilities:

Achieves annual sales goals and dollar per unit goal, by selling the appropriate mix of products – residential, commercial, new products, etc. – specific to the assigned geographic territory, thus maximizing the market’s potential. Thoroughly understands the application and specifications of the entire product line. Prospect for, sell and track projects through Salesforce.com. Accurately forecasts all sales activities for assigned reps, contractors and/or territory. Successfully sells to and influences the following key audiences as assigned; Contractors, wholesalers, inspectors, engineers, architects, builders and owner/developers. Meets the sales requirements of the Company’s annual business objectives by developing and implementing a specific marketing/sales plan and carrying out the plan within budget. Achieve new products goals, conversion and specification goals. Ensures Company is current on market conditions and trends by providing input and assistance with market research and development. Ensures independent rep agents appropriately represent the Company and meet Company objectives by providing training and coordination of their activities within assigned territory. Develops and present PowerPoint presentations as required. Develops and presents price-cost analysis presentations as required. Creates and understands basic sales reports for assigned reps, wholesalers and/or territory. Ensures regional contact information is kept current in SalesForce.com and that sales support staff are kept apprised of sales strategies and priorities for region. Ensures sales information in Salesforce.com database is maintained accurately and in a timely manner. Follows the documented Sales Cycle Process with all contractors. Records the steps through this cycle in Salesforce.com. Complete all call backs and appointments in Salesforce.com in order to successfully transfer the information into the History files.

Experience:

This individual must possess the ability to make successful cold calls, qualify prospects, and generate leads. This position requires a minimum of two years of outside sales experience within an assigned territory. Working knowledge of MS Office and a CRM program is preferred. Candidate must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to establish customer relationships. A valid driver’s license is required. Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
