The Internet Manager is responsible for ensuring customer retention, unit sales and profitability through online vehicle sales. The Internet Manager willwork directly with employees and customers to develop relationships and help bridge the disconnect in the sales process via online. Forecast annual and monthly goals and objectives for the Internet departmentCoordinate Internet promotions and advertisingResearch auto-buying services on the Internet and acts as liaison with any services the dealership uses to promote its site or advertiseUpdate the Web site frequently to attract new and repeat visitorsExplain, implement, and enforce dealership policies, emphasizing customer satisfaction and positive dealership imageEnsure proper follow up of all potential buyers by developing, implementing, and monitoring a prospecting and sales control systemPromote teamwork in a customer-focused sales environment throughout the sales, delivery and follow-up processFollow up on all Internet leads dailyBuild rapport with customers to build a base of referrals to establish customer networkProvide training and support to the sales staff on Phone & Internet skills and assist in closing salesHelp manage inventory online and incentivesWork with third party vendors such as AutoTrader and Cars.com to generate and boast lead countsPrior Automotive sales experience requiredBe able to create and maintain customer relationshipsStrong computer & phone skills (Internet, MS Outlook, CRM)Be able to coach, development and motivate sales staffDesk deals for sales professionals and take T.O.’s to maximize deal potentialDeal with local and national vendors and manufacturer representativesMust be at least eighteen years of ageMust have a valid Driver’s License Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background & drug test)
