Your Role:

You are an experienced, highly motivated sales leader. You will be responsible for sourcing, advising and closing loans with real estate investors who are in the fix and flip and ground up construction business. You will work with prospective clients to help explain our loan programs, answer their questions, ensure there is a good mutual fit and explain the closing process. New Silver will provide marketing, processing and back-office support, as well as our custom-built HQ software to streamline the entire origination process. You will be the first key hire in the region, and over the next 12 months you will develop and manage a sales team focused on the Boston area and surrounding regions.

Remote, some office time in Connecticut will be required

Responsibilities:
  • Network, outreach and engage prospective client in order to drive new business opportunities
  • Understand and be able to clearly explain New Silver’s value proposition, loan products and process
  • Meet and beat monthly sales goals (expected origination volume $5mm+ per month) Build relationships with borrowers and earn repeat business Speak with borrowers on the phone, via email and SMS Be available after 5pm and have flexibility to accommodate clients
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of successful professional experience as a loan originator
  • Highly motivated
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction
  • Experience with office technology such as Microsoft Office and G-Suite
  • Outstanding verbal and written skills that enable you to provide an excellent customer experience with borrowers and business partners.
