The primary function of this role is to strengthen partnership support to existing customers and new small accounts by creating a positive customer experience, building long-term connections with customers by satisfying their evolving needs and contributing to Dexter’s business growth. The Inside Sales Representative will leverage their industry and product expertise to proactively engage customers, providing tailored business solutions and exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:

Proactively engage existing customers to uncover new sales opportunities Identify and develop new business through outreach strategies such as outbound calling, email campaigns, and virtual meetings Conduct cold calling to introduce products, understand customer needs, and identify sales prospects

Sales Execution and Management:

Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals Oversee data entry for sales orders Prepare quotes for customers and outside sales as requested Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new clients Work closely with Branch Operations to enable timely and successful product delivery

Lead Management:

Maintain an up-to-date database of leads and track their status in the sales pipeline Consistently follow up with leads through calls, emails, or meetings Review and analyze lead generation performance, and adjusting strategies to improve effectiveness Collaborate with the marketing team to refine prospecting and promotional strategies

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential customers. Understand customers’ business insights and requirements, address inquiries, and recommend suitable solutions to meet their needs. Ensure high customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service throughout the sales process. Schedule periodic check-ins with existing clients to discuss their needs and feedback, strengthening relationships. Proactively collect customer data and feedback to improve business solutions continuously. Provide ongoing education and updates to clients about new products. Quickly address client issues or complaints to maintain satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree strongly desired Experience in Light Duty Trailer Products preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team Excellent verbal and written communication skills Adaptable to complex business environments Dexter is driven by our core values committed to
