The Ardent team has spent many years perfecting the sales network-building process and acts as a matchmaker for manufacturers by helping them find the right manufacturers’ representatives and distributors across the US, Canada, and Mexico.
SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Inside Sales Representative to drive client acquisition and promote our company’s services as well as our clients’ products. The ideal candidate is a social, energetic professional with proven sales experience, a passion for building relationships, and a talent for high-volume outreach. This position requires proactive engagement via phone calls, emails, and meetings to meet and exceed sales goals.
LOCATION
Greenville, NC (this position may be eligible for a flexible schedule allowing partial work from home depending on location, training, and the individual’s performance).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Proactively reach out to prospective clients to sell our company’s services and establish long-term partnerships. Promote and sell products on behalf of our current clients. Conduct high-volume outreach through phone calls, emails, and virtual/in-person meetings to generate leads and close sales. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to understand their needs and identify opportunities for growth. Develop and deliver engaging sales presentations tailored to client goals. Maintain accurate records of all sales activity in CRM tools, including outreach efforts, client communications, and sales pipeline progress.
SEARCH CRITERIA & CORE COMPETENCIES
2-3 years inside or outside sales experience or B2B sales role Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to track activity and progress. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated to reach goals. Skilled in building relationships and follow-through. Cultural awareness and integrity. Proficient in working with Office Suite.
