Nesco Resource is in search of an Aftermarket SalesRepresentative for one of our clients based in East Windsor, CT.Our client is the leading manufacturers’ representative of thermalenergy solutions in the Northeast. You will work alongside a teamof high-energy professionals dedicated to client’s core values.
SUMMARY In search of a multi-talented individual to sell parts andservice, as well as maintain relationships with customers for allthe solutions offered. Seeking candidates with a sales backgroundin the boiler or trades industries. For those in the trades,instead of solving problems with a wrench, you will be resolvingissues with your technical knowledge. If you are people-oriented,love everything about a boiler room, and take pride in your abilityto figure out and solve complicated thermal situations, this jobmay be ideal for you. You’ll spend most of your time in the field,visiting customers 3-5 times per day. You must be a self-starter,as this is mostly a self-directed job, requiring you to organizeyour own route each day, packing in as many targets as you can. Youwill supplement your knowledge with training to gain certificationalong the way. This role is responsible for providing aftermarketsupport and sales through existing accounts and new accounts. Keytasks include business development, customer relationshipmanagement, and brand awareness. You will focus on large end usersin the industrial, institutional, and municipal markets who havecentral plant water and thermal systems. Organizations include butare not limited to: universities, colleges, hospitals, correctionalfacilities, food processing, semiconductor, chemical, paper millsand more.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Apply strategic expertise to driveclient’s brand awareness of all boiler, water systems, and MROsolutions to channel. Locating, developing, and defining new andexisting business relationships to Client and close opportunitiesto sell mechanical MRO parts and supplies, equipmentreplacement/upgrade, equipment service, and maintenance.
Effectively drive sales; meeting or exceeding sales targets forassigned territory. Assist in the development of businessobjectives, strategies and plans specific to clients withinassigned territory. Manage relationships with key accounts byeffectively delivering customer value for sustained growth. Useconsultative approach to provide customers with best solutions.
Maintain CRM tool with contacts, pipeline, opportunities andforecasts. Maintain a high level of activity in relevant tradegroups/associations. Develop specifications, proposals, submittalsand effective presentations. Support corporate goals andinitiatives. Collect and share information on competitive, marketand industry trends with corporate. Develop and maintain excellentrelationships with key decision makers, influencers, manufacturersand personnel.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in an engineeringdiscipline. Results oriented, highly organized sales professionalwith experience in sales/marketing of thermal energy solutions.
Proven abilities in customer service and sales skills, excellentcommunication, follow up and organizational skills. Knowledge ofCRM tools; NetSuite a plus. Valid driver’s license with proven safedriving record. This position requires frequent travel butovernight travel is limited.
