The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods and services, ensuring that our logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to meet customer needs. Responsibilities Coordinate and manage logistics operations, including transportation planning and dispatching. Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and delivery schedules. Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to optimize supply chain processes. Manage account relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Assist in sales management by providing logistical support for inside sales teams. Utilize AS400 systems for tracking shipments and managing inventory data. Support NVOCC operations by coordinating documentation and compliance requirements. Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings. Skills Proficiency in logistics software, particularly AS400, is highly desirable. Experience with third-party logistics (3PL) and account management. Strong understanding of NVOCC operations and related documentation processes. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of sales management principles, including inside sales strategies. Strong analytical skills for transportation planning and optimization of logistics processes.
