As a Sales Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, assisting clients in selecting products that meet their needs, and driving sales growth. Responsibilities Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. Demonstrate product features and benefits to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction. Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions with accuracy. Maintain an organized sales floor, ensuring products are displayed attractively and stock levels are adequate. Utilize POS systems to process sales transactions and manage inventory. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve overall store performance. Assist in visual merchandising efforts to create appealing displays that attract customers. Provide insights on customer preferences and trends to help inform inventory decisions. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in lighting or interior design. Proficient in operating cash registers and POS systems. Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A keen interest in interior design or home décor is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.
