Chewy is seeking an Associate Director, Instock Management to join our Supply Chain Team based in Boston, MA. The Associate Director will lead a high-performing team of 3- 5 while being responsible all aspects of inventory management including (but not limited to): in stock strategy, inventory performance, vendor improvement, key supply chain initiatives and internal cross-functional partnerships. What You’ll Do:
Manage all aspects of supply planning and inventory management Manage direct and indirect reports as well as aspects of hiring and recruiting Manage a team of 3-5 Instock Managers Manage both National Brands and Private Label Work with Merchandising, Operations, Finance, Vendor Compliance, EDI, Demand Planning and Supply Planning teams to identify areas of opportunity to improve total supply chain performance Identify, marshal, and organize resources to meet required goals Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop consensus process/project plans
What You’ll Need:
BS/BA in Supply Chain, Business Administration or Business Management MBA preferred 5+ years of supply planning experience Current managerial responsibility of a team of 3+ Ability to collaborate with cross functional stake holders, influence decisions, and recommend a course of action based on data analytics Ability to think creatively and build innovative solutions to complex challenges Ability to drive process improvement with a focus on automation and continuous improvement Ability to operate and scale in a growing, fast-paced, and dynamic environment Superior organizational, self-motivation and problem-solving skills Strong knowledge in purchasing, forecasting and inventory management systems Proven record of building teams, developing solutions, and delivering results Previous demand planning, supply planning, inventory management is a requirement Private Label experience a plus Advanced technical skills with MS Excel, SQL and/or Tableau skills preferred Position may require some travel The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.
