This position is responsible for overseeing inventory control, maintaining planograms, and providing exceptional customer service. The Merchandise Leader will also assist in training and guiding team members to enhance overall store performance. Duties Manage cash handling processes to ensure accuracy and accountability. Oversee inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise. Operate cash registers efficiently while ensuring a smooth checkout experience for customers. Utilize retail math to analyze sales trends and make informed decisions regarding inventory levels. Implement and maintain planograms to optimize product placement and maximize sales potential. Ensure compliance with organizational standards for inventory control and merchandising practices. Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and enhancing the shopping experience. Collaborate with store management to develop strategies for improving store performance. Skills Proficient in cash handling and operating cash registers. Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices. Familiarity with retail math concepts for effective analysis of sales data. Experience with planograms and visual merchandising techniques. Excellent organizational skills to maintain a tidy and efficient workspace. Knowledge of inventory control systems to track stock levels accurately. Proficiency in Adobe software for creating promotional materials or presentations is a plus.
