Contract Overview Leading pharmaceutical company looking for an experienced Senior Associate Scientist. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelors or Masters degree in biological science, biochemistry or related fields with 1-3 years of experience. Responsibilities Contribute to the design of experiments and independently perform sample preparation using various extraction, protein digestion and purification techniques for mass spectrometry analysis. Develop “fit-for-purpose” assays and bioanalytical workflows, balancing rigor against study goals to ensure timely delivery of high-quality data. Work with different types of samples (biological fluids, tissues) from pre-clinical species. Assist in data analysis and interpretation, communicate results to team members. Contribute to the setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry instrumentation and/or other laboratory equipment. Maintain scientific and ethical standards, including appropriate record-keeping and compliance. Requirements
B.S./M.S.
in biological sciences, biochemistry, or related fields. Recent graduate with 1 to 3 years of experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. Demonstrated ability to perform complex sample preparation workflows (preferably for biological mass spectrometry) with minimal supervision. Experience working in a laboratory environment. Well-organized, self-motivated, and able to multitask with attention to detail. Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic. Works well independently and in a matrix environment.
