Responsibilities Dr. Jalan-Sakrikar’s research groupis looking for a Postdoctoral Scientist/Research fellow to join theresearch team focused on investigating fibro-inflammation inchronic liver diseases. We utilize multidisciplinary approachesthat incorporate cell biology, biochemistry, cellular models,animal studies, and patient-derived samples to gain mechanisticinsight into the role of immune cells and fibroblasts in liverdiseases. The preferred candidate will have experience in molecularand cell biology, in vivo experimentation with mice, andbioinformatics. The qualified individuals will demonstrate thepotential for research as evidenced by their training andpeer-reviewed publications. The candidate will have the opportunityto work independently and collaboratively in our Liver ResearchUnit with tailored mentorship towards their career goals. Therewill be occasions to mentor junior students, attend conferences topresent the research, as well as apply for fellowships.

Qualifications Must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoraldegree in a field deemed relevant by the program. Research Fellowis appropriate for individuals who have completed no more than oneprior postdoctoral fellowship, at Mayo Clinic or elsewhere.
