Responsibilities The Mondello lab is looking for apost-doctoral research fellow with prior wet lab experience for 2-3years in relevant biomedical field (e.g., molecular biology,immunology and/or genomics). The research focus of the Mondello labis epigenetic dysregulations in B cell malignancy and their impacton the tumor microenvironment. By combining genomic, epigenomic andtranscriptomic profiling approaches of patient samples and lymphomacells lines together with genetically modified mouse models, thelab will identify and functionally characterize recurrent geneticlesions affecting chromatin modifiers and transcription factors,determine the role of these alterations in modulating thetumor-immune crosstalk and ultimately use this information todevelop specific and potent therapeutic strategies. The expectationis the applicant will execute bench work, including but not limitedto viral transfection, immunoprecipitation, flow cytometry, westernblotting of primary and lymphoma cell line, as well as mouse work,including but not limited to immunization, transplant, genotypingand mouse colony maintenance. Prior experience in some theabove-mentioned techniques is expected but additional training willbe provided. The applicant will be required to work on site.
Qualifications Must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoraldegree in a field deemed relevant by the program. Research Fellowis appropriate for individuals who have completed no more than oneprior postdoctoral fellowship, at Mayo Clinic or elsewhere.
