Job Summary:
The Analytical Scientist II is a laboratory position which involves the development and validation of analytical methodologies to support research projects, testing of pharmaceutical components and/or drug products. Under general supervision, the role may require proficiency in formulation support, method improvement and validation, and testing per compendial pharmacopeia. The Analytical Scientist II will have general knowledge of cGMP and FDA requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
The Analytical Scientist II will be working with multiple instrumentation techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-VIS, dissolution equipment, pH measurement, titration, etc. Perform stability testing for GMP and R D finished products. Conduct analytical testing of API, excipients, and components following compendial and validated methods. Perform analytical method validation and method transfer with minimal supervision. Follow company SOPs, STPs, and comply with safety regulations. Maintain detailed records of experiments in the laboratory notebook. Timely communicate obtained data and any issues to supervisors. Analyze and interpret analytical data with minimal supervision. Interpret specifications, standard operating procedures, and standard testing procedures. Write/review protocols, reports, SOPs, and STPs applicable to the analytical laboratory under supervision. Work as a member of a team to achieve all outcomes.
