About the Role As a Quality Chemist , you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and integrity of materials used in production. This position involves a mix of independent work and collaboration, supporting both routine quality control and innovative product development efforts. Key Responsibilities Quality Control & Analysis Conduct metallurgical testing: prepare/mount sample cross-sections, perform microscopy and microstructure analysis, and measure physical properties (e.g., optical comparator, hardness, tensile, conductivity, SEM/EDS). Perform chemical analysis using spectroscopy and gravimetric techniques to determine major and trace elements, especially in precious metals. Ensure timely and accurate analyses in support of both production and product development. Documentation & Reporting Accurately document all test results. Prepare material certifications and quality reports for internal and external stakeholders. Process Improvement & Compliance Maintain, calibrate, and improve testing methods and lab equipment. Implement new test methods for emerging product technologies and non-routine samples. Support quality and manufacturing audits. Comply with hazardous material handling and disposal in line with EH&S and OSHA standards. Contribute to the effectiveness of our

ISO 9001

(Quality) and

ISO 14001

(EH&S) systems. Qualifications BS in Chemistry or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience with analytical and metallurgical testing in a manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to read blueprints, interpret data, and generate technical reports. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP B1 experience a plus. Strong communication skills and ability to work across departments. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Commitment to safety and a quality-focused mindset. Physical Requirements Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required. Why Join Us?
