Responsibilities A Research Fellow position in LifeSciences (LS) will require knowledge of either clinical-basedresearch or laboratory-based research often obtained from apostdoctoral program. A Research Fellow at Mayo Clinic is atemporary position intended to provide training and education inresearch. Individuals will train in the research program of a MayoClinic principal investigator. Qualified individuals willdemonstrate the potential for research as evidenced by theirtraining and peer-reviewed publications and should becomecompetitive for national research grants. Proof of Englishproficiency is required for J-1 Short-Term Scholars, ResearchScholars, Professors, Specialists, and Student Interns sponsored byMayo Clinic. Qualifications Must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalentdoctoral degree in a field deemed relevant by the program. ResearchFellow is appropriate for individuals who have completed no morethan one prior postdoctoral fellowship, at Mayo Clinic orelsewhere.
