Role Summary:
The Quantitative Research Analyst plays a crucial role in financial institutions, leveraging advanced mathematical and statistical techniques to analyze market trends, develop trading strategies, and assess risk. The position is embedded within a collaborative, high-performing quantitative investment team that partners closely with portfolio managers, analysts, and data professionals. The analyst will contribute to cross-asset research and portfolio construction efforts, working in an environment that values rigorous analysis, continuous improvement, and shared intellectual curiosity.
Responsibilities:
Extract and analyze financial data from FactSet, Bloomberg, and other sources to support asset allocation decisions and portfolio analytics. Collaborate with portfolio managers, quantitative analysts, and investment strategists to enhance alpha generation and risk adjusted outcomes. Update and manage asset/market grid templates to support dynamic asset allocation discussions and investment committee reviews. Learn and apply basic statistical techniques and quantitative methods to help estimate potential returns, evaluate risk exposures, and contribute to performance attribution and portfolio optimization. Support internal reporting needs and help prepare materials for investment committee meetings, client reviews, and strategy discussions. Access economic and market data sources to develop graphs, dashboards, and visualizations that support internal reporting and external presentations. Prepare PowerPoint presentations for internal and external stakeholders, summarizing portfolio performance, market outlook, and analytical findings.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related field At least 2 plus years of relevant work experience Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of financial instruments, derivatives, and risk management principles. Experience with risk modeling software, quantitative analytics platforms, and market data providers (e.g. FactSet, Bloomberg). Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning, and financial modeling. Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or C++.

20 days plus two floating personal holidays The salary range below describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this role. The role is also eligible for an annual bonus, whereby total compensation may exceed this range depending on individual and / or company performance.
Base Salary Range:
