out of 5 stars Humboldt, TN 38343 FedEx Corporation Contractor based out of Humboldt, TN is looking to hire a full-time (Business Contact-BC) Manager. Past or present FedEx experience a plus. Logistics experience necessary. We are looking for a reliable, professional and detail-oriented individual who will be supervising a group of experienced drivers in their day-to-day routines.
Responsibilities:
Lead, guide, mentor and manage a team of delivery professionals in a manner that drives service performance and metrics to a level exceeding FedEx Corp goals and standards. Attend to day-to-day issues and resolve problems on the go Must ensure and adequate number of staff is maintained to complete all assigned runs Responsible for understanding and estimating the daily service needs, managing equipment needs, dispatching drivers and optimizing routes for efficiency Manage and use of technology and applications Complete Daily Check Lists Maintain Pre-trip-Post-trip inspections Good understanding of on time pickups and deliveries and managing procedures for exceptions Maintaining open communication Must have driving experience to fill in as driver when needed
