Lead Access Control Technician Description:
They are looking for a Lead Access Control Technician to join their team and support a significant backlog of work beginning June 2nd. The selected lead will receive a company vehicle while on contract, though not during the initial few months. Ideal candidates should demonstrate a willingness to learn and upskill, think critically, and work independently without close supervision.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an Access Control Technician or in a related field Knowledge of access control hardware and software, including readers, controllers, and door strikes Experience with Lenel access control systems Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Excellent communication skills and professional client interaction Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Lenel Certification (preferred but not required)
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain access control, security, and camera systems Troubleshoot and repair access control systems to ensure functionality and security Perform system upgrades, modifications, and maintenance Collaborate with clients to assess needs and recommend solutions Provide on-site training and technical support as needed Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations during installations Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
