Job Description

Job Purpose The Cloud Engineer III will lead the design, implementation, and management of complex cloud solutions on Azure and AWS platforms, ensuring that all cloud environments are secure, compliant, and aligned with regulatory requirements. In this position you will have the opportunity to:

Cloud Strategy Collaboration :

Participate with the enterprise architecture team on cloud strategy development, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory compliance.

Technical Leadership :

Mentor engineers and lead project teams to ensure successful cloud deployments that meet security and compliance standards.

Architecture and Migration :

Design and execute cloud migrations, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems while maintaining compliance.

Innovation and Optimization :

Continuously evaluate new technologies and optimize cloud environments for performance, cost efficiency, and compliance.

Security and Compliance Leadership :

Ensure cloud security, IAM, and compliance with industry standards, including SOX, by overseeing the implementation of internal controls and security measures.

Monitoring and Performance Optimization :

Use LogicMonitor to monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, ensuring real-time insights and proactive issue resolution.

Collaboration :

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud solutions meet business needs and align with organizational strategies.

PaaS Advocacy :

Act as an advocate for the use of PaaS-specific products within the organization, promoting the adoption of services like Azure App Service, Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, and AWS API Gateway to enhance application development and deployment efficiency.

DevOps & CI/CD :

Manage deployments with CI/CD pipelines and Blue-Green Deployment techniques, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Professional Development :

Lead training initiatives and workshops, pursue expert-level certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect –

Professional or Azure Certified:

Azure Solutions Architect Expert) What do I need to be successful? 7+ years of experience in cloud computing, with at least 1 year in a leadership role. Advanced knowledge of cloud architecture and migration strategies. Expertise in Azure services (Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Machine Learning) and AWS services (EKS, SageMaker). Strong experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines). Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide teams on cloud security and compliance. Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework and

ISO 27001.

Strong commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry developments. Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience required. AWS or Azure certifications preferred. Work Environment This position will work at home and in our Nashville office on a hybrid schedule Must live within a commutable distance to Nashville or willing to relocate to the greater Nashville area #LI-HYBRID
