The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support and maintenance for IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance of computer systems and networks. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving, along with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients. Duties Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software systems at client locations. Provide technical support for IT infrastructure, including networking components and security systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer networking, firewalls, VPNs, and TCP/IP configurations. Document all service requests and resolutions using Remedy or similar ticketing systems. Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure reliability and performance. Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery processes and enhance customer satisfaction. Stay updated on the latest technology trends and advancements in IT support. Skills Proficiency in computer networking concepts and IT infrastructure management. Experience with Remedy or similar IT service management tools. Strong understanding of firewall configurations and security protocols. Knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with Windows operating systems and related software applications. Ability to provide effective technical support in a fast-paced environment. Competence in configuring VPNs and understanding TCP/IP networking principles.
