Support will be provided via remote support to include phone, email, and messaging applications when applicable and requires responding to, documenting, and resolving service tickets in a timely manner. IT Support Technician Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end users via phone, remotely, or messaging applications
- Use problem-solving skills to diagnose, evaluate, and resolve complex problems or escalate them to the appropriate group
- Support multiple platforms including desktops, laptops, POS, mobile devices, proprietary software, and basic networking equipment
- Support of Windows, Microsoft, and Active Directory
- Maintain a high degree of customer service and adhere to all service management principals IT Support Technician Requirements
- Associates degree in Information Technology or related field or relevant experience in the field
- A+ Computer or Network + Computer Certification preferred
- Experience with Operating Systems- Windows and Mac
- Phone support experience preferred
- Entry level knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
- Experience with MS Office and Active Directory preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- High sense of urgency
