Field Sales Automation Manager Job Description:
The Field Sales Automation Manager will oversee the requirements, CRM solution design, strategic engagement and day-to-day support of Salesforce for both the GMO and Intacct instances across North America. This role will be critical in driving the optimization and efficiency of sales and operations by leveraging Salesforce to its full potential to support of our Digital transformation efforts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring the effective use of Salesforce to streamline sales processes, increase user adoption, and enhance data management. The Field Sales Automation Manager role works closely with the regions and functions to ensure that deliverables are aligned to the strategy and executed in the best way possible to support scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Sales, IT, and Business teams to capture comprehensive sales and service requirements for Salesforce (GMO and Intacct instances) in alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure the Salesforce solution is designed to meet both the immediate and long-term needs of the business.
- Develop and distribute enablement and communication materials to increase user adoption of Salesforce across North America.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to ensure users are proficient in utilizing Salesforce effectively.
- Assist in managing the Salesforce backlog by prioritizing and tracking requests, issues, and enhancements for both GMO and Intacct instances.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery and resolution of backlog items.
- Collaborate with the IT team to support the delivery of Salesforce enhancements, including conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensuring knowledge sharing across the team.
- Track and update progress in Jira to ensure alignment with project timelines.
- Assist in gathering Business As Usual (BAU) requirements, ensuring that all needs are documented, prioritized, and implemented effectively.
- Work closely with the business teams to prioritize and manage ongoing requests and improvements.
- Ensure that global Salesforce processes, methodologies, and best practices are followed and effectively implemented across North America.
- Promote standardization and optimization of processes to drive efficiency and improve sales operations.
- Collaborate with the team to measure results and capture key deliverables to assess the impact and success of Salesforce initiatives.
- Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement based on performance data.
Qualifications:
- Strong Salesforce expertise is a must
- Prior Salesforce training and enablement experience is ideal
- Salesforce Operations Certificate preferred
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects
- Demonstrated ability to quickly understand complex problems and develop effective solutions.
