Job Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Lead to spearhead a Cloud Data Modernization initiative. This role involves leading the migration of an on-premises SQL Server-based Enterprise Data Warehouse to a modern, scalable cloud data platform using Azure and Snowflake. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, leadership experience, and a passion for delivering high-impact data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end migration of an on-premises SQL Server data warehouse to Azure and Snowflake Design and implement scalable data solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Self-hosted Integration Runtime (SHIR), Logic Apps, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS Gen2), Blob Storage, Databricks, and Snowflake Develop and manage cloud-native ETL pipelines and workflows Implement DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using GitActions Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and delivery Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot data pipelines and platform performance Ensure compliance with data security and governance standards Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams

Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in Cloud Data Engineering, with 3+ years in a technical leadership or delivery role Hands-on experience with Azure data services, Databricks, and Snowflake Strong background in building cloud-native ETL pipelines Proficiency in DevOps and CI/CD using GitActions Experience with Python or similar scripting languages Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills Proven success in delivering cloud-based data projects Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools

Preferred Qualifications:
