Sr. IT Project Manager/Scrum Master (Raleigh)

Job Description:

On-Site Raleigh, North Carolina 3 days per week (2 days remote)

Role:

Sr. IT Project Manager/Scrum Master

Duration:

10 months

Type:

direct on W2 contract, paid for hours worked, benefit options, free training resources

Shift:

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm EST

Pay:

Up to $79/hr on W2

Purpose:

Core Tech project to upgrade the base application version to latest and support ISO project changes

Responsibilities:

Lead the implementation of projects
Manage multiple, ongoing software implementations
Help define project scope, goals and deliverables and define project tasks and resource requirements.
Develop full scale project plans
Assemble and coordinate project staff
Plan and schedule project timelines
Track project deliverables, manage risks and issues using appropriate tools
Provide direction to project team
Monitor and report on progress of the project to all partners
Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions
Implement project changes and interventions to achieve project goals
Project evaluations and assessment of results
Provide feedback to internal team and development regarding process and product improvement

Required:

10+ years of experience managing multifaceted projects (project budgets, deliverables, tracking, status updates, etc.)
Scrum Master experience (leading Agile teams following Scrum ceremonies)
Experience working for a bank/financial institution Experience leading implementations of .net, pega, pearl or AS400 Experience leading multiple projects at the same time (1 large, a few smaller)
Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
Experience in strategic planning, risk management and change management
Superior collaboration, flexibility and responsiveness
Fluent in English with strong verbal/written communication skills
Bachelors Degree
