Responsible for overseeing the online reputation and organic social media presence of the organization by leveraging data and market insights to develop impactful messages, video, and/or imagery for various consumer touchpoints. This role focuses heavily on the strategic development and execution of content for organic social media campaigns across multiple platforms, ensuring alignment with brand voice and marketing objectives. This position also leads influencer partnership initiatives and actively monitors and manages online reviews, comments, and questions to enhance the brand’s reputation and customer engagement. Essential Job Functions include the following, other activities may be assigned: Develops strategic monthly organic social media campaigns for each brand and audience segment. Responsibilities include planning campaign themes, collaborating with the content team for creative development, gathering product insights from internal teams, and refining tactics based on performance metrics and consumer feedback. Conducts internal and external research to inform content creation with the most relevant, timely, and brand-aligned messaging. Keeps content plans agile to respond to trends and performance data. Oversees the organization’s influencer marketing projects, including identifying potential partners, managing contracts, coordinating deliverables, and measuring results. Monitors and manages online reviews and social media feedback using internal tools. Responds in a timely, respectful, and brand-consistent manner to reviews, questions, and customer concerns. Develops additional content assets as needed for various platforms such as web, mobile, email, landing pages, and promotional events. May assist with internal communication needs including print, video, or digital collateral. A/B tests creative assets to identify top-performing content and inform future iterations across organic and paid media strategies. Supports local store Facebook pages by training store partners on best practices, assisting with setup and engagement, and monitoring local content for brand alignment. Remains current on social media trends, platform changes, tools, and best practices to keep the brand’s organic presence competitive and effective. Collaborates with other content developers and team members to maintain consistency and innovation in all creative assets, ensuring all materials adhere to established branding guidelines. May assist team with the development of content for other channels including paid channels, in-store signage, website, email and other as needed. Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university, marketing, communications, or journalism degree preferred; 3-5 years of related experience; basic design and social media management experience a plus. Computer and Technical Skills Strong writing and editing skills required. Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel programs. Strong knowledge of social media platforms, online community management, and influencer marketing best practices Language Skills Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft clear, engaging, and brand-aligned content across digital platforms. Adept at responding to online reviews and public comments with professionalism and strategic tone. Comfortable communicating with diverse audiences, including customers, influencers, and internal stakeholders. Skilled in translating brand messaging into compelling social media and online content, with strong editing and proofreading capabilities to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and to read and interpret graphs. Reasoning Ability Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
