Developer Advocate EngineerWhat you can expectThis role focuses on inspiring, educating, and enabling developers building apps with Realtime Media Streams and the Contact Center platform. As these two products grow, this role will majorly impact the early developer experience and success of new products and ecosystems in voice and real-time applications.

About the TeamOur Developer Advocacy team works to determine the success of developers and global audiences building on the Zoom Developer Platform. Working as an engineer, technical communicator, and community advocate, you will work to inspire and enable developers building on the Zoom Developer Platform.

What we’re looking for+ 3-5 years of experience in developer advocacy, software engineering, or related developer-facing roles+ Travel is not a requirement for this role but it will be focused on outbound engagement with developer audiences+ Experience implementing user authorization (OAuth 2.0)+ Experience building Node.js or Python applications and sharing with developer audiances.+ Effective communication with developers in written and virtual settings+ Strong grasp of full-stack and real-time application development including client-side JavaScript and WebSockets+ Familiarity with the needs of AI developers including tooling and infrastructureResponsibilities+ Develop, and communicate sample applications to new and existing audiences of the Zoom Developer platform+ Create technical tutorials, developer guides and other community-facing resources+ Assist developers directly on our community forums and chat channels+ Understand, measure and direct the impact of new changes to the developer ecosystem+ Assist in the launch of new products and services built for a developer audience+ Channel community feedback and your own perspective to advocate for improved developer experience on the platform
Salary Range or On Target Earnings:
Minimum:
$98 900,00
Maximum:
$228 700,00 In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
