Full-Time About the Role Abel Personnel is partnering with a mission-driven organization in Harrisburg, PA, to find a highly skilled Application Developer with expertise in Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems and contact center application development. This is a hybrid role (1 mandatory day in-office per week) ideal for a Pennsylvania resident who thrives in building enterprise-grade applications that support customer interaction, telephony integration, and business process automation. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain IVR applications using Concentrix , Intervoice Development Studio , and Interaction Composer Utilize ECMAScript and related JavaScript technologies to enhance user experience Build ancillary applications using C# and VB.NET (preferred) Integrate contact center systems with telephony platforms and third-party APIs Interpret technical specifications to build application solutions in alignment with business needs Conduct unit and functional testing to ensure robust, bug-free code Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and peer collaboration Maintain source code repositories and follow version control best practices Provide occasional on-call production support and troubleshooting Required Skills and Experience 3+ years of hands-on programming experience in enterprise environments Proficiency in IVR/contact center development platforms such as Concentrix or Intervoice Strong understanding of telephony systems , API integrations , and Java EE Experience with

SOAP , REST

, and Web Services Proficient in Structured Query Language (SQL) and working with relational/NOSQL databases Experience in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Familiarity with mainframe application development a plus Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and best practices Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related technical field (or equivalent experience) Prior experience with C# , VB.NET , or other .NET languages Knowledge of system integration in highly regulated or public sector environments

Work Environment & Requirements Hybrid Schedule:

1 day per week in the Harrisburg, PA office
