Custom Software Engineering Manager (Accenture LLP; St.
Petersburg, FL): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for theposition of Custom Software Engineering Manager in St. Petersburg,FL, and the job duties are as follows: Design, develop and test custom software solutions acrossmultiple system components or applications. Create implementation or integration approach for applicationsand components. Design and code applications in line with programming standardsand interface specifications. Architect development strategy for applications andcomponents. Coordinate development streams in line with overall program(s)timing and milestones. Build deployment plan, including the development plan andschedule, keeping in line with overall project timeline. Design, build, assemble, and configure application or technicalarchitecture components using business requirements. Team with stakeholders on application and component design tosecure buy in. Develop and direct software system testing and validationprocedures, programming, and documentation.
BASICQUALIFICATIONS
Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications,Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressivepost-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.
Musthave 3 years of experience in each of the following: Designing, developing, and support of front-end web, RESTfulAPIs, and database components adhering to SDLC best practices; Executing knowledge on cloud platforms, including Pivotal cloudfoundry (PCF), OpenShift, AWS and DevOps; Utilizing DevOps and Agile methodology; Coding and deploying applications using DevOps utilizingGitHub, Jenkins, Maven, and Splunk; Working with databases SQL with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and IBMDB2; IT Change Management, Problem Management, Incident Management,and ITIL governance processes; Creating technical designs for multi-tiered web applications;and Managing onshore and offshore delivery teams supportingcritical applications.
Must have 2 years of experience in drivingkey delivery orchestration design decisions and suggestingimprovements on ongoing issues.
Must have willingness and ability totravel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet clientneeds.
