Contract in Doral, Florida. The Journeyman Systems Analyst (CyberArk Focused) supports the operation, configuration, and administration of the Privileged Access Management (PAM) environment using CyberArk. This role works closely with system administrators, cybersecurity analysts, and IT teams to support access controls and security posture.
Responsibilities:
Support the configuration and maintenance of CyberArk components (PVWA, CPM, PSM, PTA) Assist with onboarding privileged accounts, credential rotation policies, and access provisioning Monitor and analyze logs, alerts, and reports to identify potential access control issues Collaborate with security and operations teams to enforce PAM policies Help implement remediation actions based on audit findings or system assessments Document processes, user guides, and configuration changes related to CyberArk Participate in testing, updates, and patching of PAM tools in coordination with system administrators Conduct basic troubleshooting of CyberArk integration issues with Windows/Linux systems and Active Directory Assist in user training and knowledge sharing for PAM best practices Respond to access-related service requests and incidents
Required:
Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field 4-9 years of experience in IT or cybersecurity, with at least 1 year supporting CyberArk or other PAM solutions Familiarity with access control concepts, Active Directory, and Windows/Linux systems. Ability to read and understand security logs and analyze user activity. Experience documenting technical processes and workflows.
Desired:
Bachelor’s degree in related field Experience in a DoD or federal IT environment Basic scripting (PowerShell or Python) for automation tasks Understanding of NIST cybersecurity controls and Zero Trust principles CyberArk Sentry certification
Clearance:
Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a
TS/SCI Certification:
DoD 8570 Baseline & CE certifications are required for all positions and may vary slightly depending on the skillset required to perform the role CompTIA Security+ CyberArk Trustee or Defender certification
