Month Contract Overview:
A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Payroll Systems Analyst for a 24-month consulting assignment . This fully remote position offers the opportunity to support payroll systems initiatives in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in ERP payroll configuration, system troubleshooting, and cross-functional project work.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into functional system solutions Design and deliver standard and ad-hoc payroll reports Ensure accurate payroll and time & attendance processing by maintaining system rules and configuration Troubleshoot complex payroll system issues and coordinate resolutions with technical teams Act as a subject matter expert for payroll system design, testing, and support Contribute to system upgrades, implementations, and maintenance activities Manage incoming support requests via ticketing system from employees, leaders, and timekeepers Partner with technical and operational teams to resolve payroll processing failures and improve system performance Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll information and adhere to data security guidelines Support recurring payroll cycles as part of a rotational schedule Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
Required:
High School Diploma or GED Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll configuration and processing within an ERP system Solid knowledge of payroll regulations and tax compliance Experience with report writing and data analysis Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Suite Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Experience in project documentation, change management, testing, and support
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field Hands-on experience with Workday , PeopleSoft (PSOFT) , or Oracle payroll systems Knowledge of SQL for report design and data analysis Familiarity with timekeeping systems such as Kronos or UKG Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
