Responsibilities The Technical Advisor/Site Lead is a senior role requiring a thorough understanding of AFCENT’s goals, objectives, and implementation strategies. The individual in this role must also have knowledge of system development life cycle (SDLC) concepts.
Primary duties include:
Assisting the

Technical Director with developing goals, objectives, and implementation strategies for IT services. Providing management oversight and strategic guidance across NOSC functional areas. Ensuring appropriate operation and maintenance actions are performed on all mission networks. Applying SDLC concepts and principles in engineering activities. Assisting with the planning and execution of AFCENT network operations projects. Providing technical coordination and research to exploit cutting-edge technologies. Participating in strategic planning conferences and working groups. Reviewing technical project documentation. Preparing briefings and presentations in support of IT initiatives. Developing and modifying standardized training. Assisting project leads with determining project scope, resources, and schedules. Coordinating technical visits from DoD activities, contractors, and commercial vendors. Representing

during technical exchanges. Meeting with key vendors and other organizations. Deliver On-call support outside normal business hours, as required
