The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a bus and transporting passengers to designated locations. Responsibilities
- Drive buses along specified routes according to a set time schedule
- Ensure the safety of passengers during transit
- Communicate effectively with passengers, especially in emergency situations
- Maintain a clean and mechanically sound bus
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus as needed Requirements
- Prior experience in bus driving, particularly school bus driving or paratransit, is preferred
- Ability to communicate fluently in English; bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus
- Experience working with children is desirable
- Possess mechanical knowledge for basic bus maintenance and troubleshooting
