The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting children to their destinations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and effective communication skills. Experience in school bus driving, paratransit, or shuttle driving is preferred. Responsibilities Safely operate various types of buses, including school buses, motor coaches, and paratransit vehicles. Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers during transit. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and performance. Communicate effectively with passengers regarding routes, schedules, and any changes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bus interior and exterior. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers as needed. Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly to ensure vehicle reliability. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Qualifications Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL or F endorsement ) with appropriate endorsements for bus operation. Previous experience in school bus driving, paratransit, shuttle driving, or motor coach operation is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members. Ability to maintain a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations. Commitment to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
