“`Duties“`
- Safely and efficiently transport packages and documents to designated locations
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Load and unload packages from delivery vehicles
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring packages are delivered in a professional and courteous manner
- Communicate any delays or issues with deliveries to the appropriate parties
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating a company vehicle “`Qualifications“`
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a courier or in a similar delivery role is preferred
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles, including vans and box trucks
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including forklift operation, is a plus
- Excellent route driving skills with the ability to navigate efficiently using GPS or maps
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds
