Our state-of-the-art laboratory is located in Tarrytown, NY.

Work schedule:

Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain timely and accurate distribution of completed patient materials to assigned pathologists. Accurate assignment of cases and data entry in laboratory systems. File, scan, and organize documents including reports, requisitions, and microscope slides. Assist with retrieving patient materials as requested by pathologists. Ensure timely delivery of reports and results to ordering providers or departments. Maintain the inventory of office supplies and submit requests for new materials to management as needed. Coordinate communication between laboratory staff and other departments. Assist with patient material preparation for mailing or delivery pick-ups. Follow confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines when handling patient information. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous clerical or administrative experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of experience in a healthcare or laboratory environment Basic knowledge of medical or laboratory terminology is a plus. Physical Requirements Primarily office-based within the laboratory environment. Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. May require occasional lifting of light supplies or lab materials. Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
