In this role, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and courteous removal of unwanted items from residential and commercial properties. This position involves physical labor, excellent customer service, and the ability to work as part of a team. Responsibilities Safely load, transport, and unload unwanted items, debris, and furniture from homes, offices, construction sites, or other properties Interact professionally with customers and ensure high-quality service Sort and organize items for donation, recycling, or disposal Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck and equipment Follow all safety procedures and company policies Provide accurate estimates for removal jobs when required Perform minor demolition work when necessary (e.g., tearing out cabinets or breaking down furniture) Qualifications Ability to lift 50-75 lbs repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks Strong communication and customer service skills Basic knowledge of proper lifting techniques and general safety practices Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (preferred but not always required) Previous experience in junk removal, moving, general labor, or related fields is a plus Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Comfortable working in various environments (indoor/outdoor, hot/cold weather, tight spaces) Must be punctual, dependable, and have a strong attention to detail Willingness to undergo background check and drug screening if required
