The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to operate different types of vehicles, including vans and box trucks. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manually as needed. Ensure all deliveries are made on time while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery confirmations. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and proper functioning before each trip. Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs promptly to management. Experience Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is a plus. Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS systems or maps. Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is beneficial but not mandatory.
